Hey,

I did have a few resources on Jasper Jones but I will have to find it when I get onto the computer as I am on my friends laptop. I shall let you know as soon as I can if I can find them again :)

Sorry, and I will get back to you as soon as I can

'Hey,

Can someone please tell me which exams permit notes in the WACE exam? I've never heard of this before ^^.

Thanks'

I saw you post this but I don't know how to reply, or if I can :P

Well to answer your q, you will get a Year 12 Information Handbook when you get into year twelve, about mid year, but I guess you're not there yet, so if you really can't wait :P, go to this link:
http://issuu.com/curriculum_council/docs/year-12-handbook?mode=embed&layout=http%3A%2F%2Fskin.i

It's appendix D, which starts on page 37 :)

I've done all of your Term 3 stuff, plus Weeks 1, 2 and 7 of Term 4.

So far we've done PPF, opportunity cost, demand and supply, elasticity, types of markets, market efficiency/failure, circular flow, aggregate expenditure and inflation/CPI....I think that's pretty much it. How about you?

I'm in Year 11 Economics at the moment :) I'm finding it pretty good - some of the concepts are complex, but most of them aren't too bad. I can't imagine doing the whole lot in one semester though!

Hey :) Here's my answer to your economics question (the forum reply button wasn't working for me):

Just briefly:

  • The economic problem is scarcity of resources, and so a "solution" to it is to make sure that all resources are being used efficiently (no shortage/surplus in the market). So, price is important in solving the economic problem as the market is ONLY efficient at the equilibrium price (where quantity demanded equals that supplied).
  • In a market economy, prices are determined by the equilibrium (on the demand/supply graph, this is where the two lines intersect). The price that corresponds to this intersection is the market price for that good/service.
  • There's quite a lot to list here, but from memory, it's just all of the factors affecting quantity demanded/supplied.

hope that was of some help to you :)
