Besides giving our curriculum of course, the curriculum council have no jurisdiction over what subjects you do in year 12. You choose subjects based purely on what you think you can achieve best at.
I know many people who are repeated 3AB from last year and year 11's who will be next year.
Curriculum council also don't look at any of your year 11 scores when you're in year 12. Year 11 actually counts for nothing to do with your wace, its just practice.

Comment by Sarah Davies on September 22, 2011 at 18:03: I'm in year 12 and I've been told that my year is the last year that are able to repeat Maths 3AB. So year 11s won't be able to repeat the 3AB unit again next year- and that's what the Curriculum Council have said too.

Comment by Maddie Hutchison on September 22, 2011 at 17:53: I think you can repeat but it depends on the school. My maths teacher said our school's policy is that you don't repeat subjects but there are some cases where people are able to. But you can repeat, they just prefer you not to.
