A network to help you get through high school and into uni
Heya,
I know they're not til November but in regards to WACE exams, will my teacher tell us what content we should study for the exams or do we just have to study everything learnt throughout the year and try and remember as much as possible?
Cheers!
Hey T.J.
The best thing to do to study for WACE exams is practice on the past WACE exams from 2009 - 2011. This way you will get more experience in:
Another benefit you get from working in past WACE exams is that you can see what question/s have been asked previously and see if you think you'll be asked the same/similar questions in this year's WACE exams.

Also if you do any science/mathematic subjects (e.g chem, human bio) be sure to buy the Creelmans (spelling?) exam questions book. It's basically a compilation of all the TEE/WACE exam questions from 2005-2011.
QUESTIONS ARE RECYCLED FROM PAST EXAMS. In human biology last year in the WACE paper there were atleast 2-3 short answers and nearly a whole extended response of questions that i had answered from the book.
I would highly suggest ditching the 'copying out the textbook' method of learning and focus on getting used to answering exam style questions and study the marking keys to see what depth needs to be shwon in each question for full marks. This is especially important closer to the WACE exams.
